Personalised Tutoring Sessions

Each 45-minute session is thoughtfully designed to support your child in either Mathematics or Literacy. With a maximum of two students per session, your child benefits from focused, individualised attention in a calm and supportive environment. An assistant may also be present to further enhance learning and support.

 

Initial Assessment & Parent Consultation

Your child’s journey begins with a comprehensive 45-minute assessment in your chosen subject area. This allows me to clearly identify strengths, gaps, and the most effective next steps.

You will receive a follow-up phone consultation to discuss the results in detail. My approach is open and honest, providing you with a clear understanding of where your child is currently performing—alongside a plan to move them forward with confidence.

 

Targeted, High-Impact Learning
Mathematics - A structured assessment and teaching approach covering Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability ensuring no gaps are missed.

Literacy - A comprehensive focus on reading, spelling, writing, and handwriting, with targeted instruction aligned to your child’s specific needs.

Students are grouped and taught according to their ability, not their school year level—allowing for both support and extension where needed.

 

Individualised Approach

For private sessions, a tailored program is developed specifically for your child. In small-group sessions, learning remains highly personalised within a carefully matched pair.

My teaching style is primarily “paper and pencil,” with the addition of hands-on and creative activities where they enhance understanding and engagement.
