About Me

With over 35 years of experience in primary education, I offer a highly personalised and supportive approach to helping children build confidence and succeed in their learning. I hold a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney and have taught across Sydney, the Blue Mountains, and Melbourne, working with students from Kindergarten through to Year 6.
As a trained dyslexia practitioner specialising in the Sounds-Write program, I provide structured, evidence-based intervention tailored to each child’s individual needs. I understand that every learner is different, and I take the time to ensure each child feels supported, capable, and understood.
In 2016, I transitioned from the classroom to focus exclusively on small-group and one-on-one support, where I can make the greatest impact. I also work closely with families, keeping parents informed and involved, so you can feel confident in your child’s progress every step of the way.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing that “light bulb” moment—when a child realises they can do it. My goal is not only to improve academic outcomes, but to help your child develop confidence, independence, and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
I am based in Glenbrook in the Lower Blue Mountains, conveniently located near Glenbrook Skate Park and the RSL.
